9/7/2024 - This was the event that started everything for us. Emmett was a recipient of multiple blood transfusions while hospitalized for Leukemia. We partnered with the Versiti (ver-seh-tee) Blood Center of Wisconsin, the very organization that provided the blood to Emmett while in the hospital to host the blood drive. We also partnered with the Woodson YMCA who hosted their facility and space for the blood drive to occur.

We had over 100 people donate blood. We had small raffles and fundraisers. We had our community show up in force. We were hooked.
